Personal
I cultivate my interest in complementary medicine through the practice of Qigong (energy work) and ongoing self studies in complementary therapies and general wellbeing.
I practice acupuncture with an integrated approach that combines techniques such as TCM/Channel Theory and 5 Element Acupuncture, along with the Balance Method.
In my practice I often integrate (as necessary) Tui Na massage, Gua Sha, Cupping, Moxibustion and Electroacupuncture. This blend of techniques gives me the possibility to address a wide range of conditions from different perspectives.

Acupuncture Training
Licentiate in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM): a degree from Kingston University learning an integrated approach of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture. Training includes the student and interim clinic at CICM as well as current private practice. Theoretical and practical training in various aspects of Chinese and Western Medicine is enhanced by ongoing Continual Practical Development (CPD) training and personal ongoing research and enquiry in both fields.
Tui Na Training
A one year Diploma course under the guidance of Alexander Evans at CICM. The training includes patient diagnostics, learning specialist compound techniques of this Chinese therapeutic massage system, and clinical experience. Ongoing continual practical development through clinical practice, courses, personal research and enquiry.
Paediatric Training
A one year Diploma course under the guidance of Rebecca Avern, senior lecturer at CICM, an educational author. The training included Paediatric Acupuncture, Tui Na, Shonishin (Japanese) techniques, No-Needle Acupuncture techniques, and more. Ongoing continual development is supported through my clinical practice, working on a multitude of health conditions and supervision sessions, Eastern and Western Medicine research, and my own background and experience as a mother to two wonderful girls.
Personal
I have previously studied and worked in the arts and business sectors. Over time, my compass in life led me to helping people in one way or another. My first few encounters with acupuncture many years ago made such a remarkable impression on me that I decided to learn the “language of Chinese Medicine”.
In my practice I use Chinese Medicine skills as well as experience, research and knowledge in the field of health and wellbeing to help patients find their way back to health and harmony.
I enjoy helping patients build their own individual wellbeing toolkit. I treat with an integrated approach which, alongside acupuncture and lifestyle advice, often involves mindfulness and body work, such as Qi Gong, Tui Na, acupressure, meditation, reflexology, massage, cupping and other tools.
